 | Bagpipes add the perfect touch to any ceremony and Ian Lawther has many years experience providing pipe music for weddings. How the pipes are incorporated in the ceremony is up to the client but typically Ian will play for the guests arriving, for the Processional, the Recessional and as the guests depart. He has also performed within the service for such things as the lighting of the Unity Candle. As well as playing at the ceremony the piper can also welcome guests at the reception and provide background music for cocktails. Because Ian plays a variety of bagpipes it is possible to use quieter instruments in smaller indoor spaces as well as the better known Highland Bagpipe. |
